Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley

 Southernmost ski destination in the Continental US. It is located in the Santa Catalina Mountain Range on the top of Mt. Lemmon. Ski season ranges from Mid December to April.  Summerhaven hosts a General Store and locally owned restaurants.

University of Arizona

Known to the locals as the U of A, this is oldest University in the State of Arizona. The public university hosts the Third Largest book festival in the United States, features a Planetarium, and is known for it's academic programs.
